today was our last workshop! this was a very sad occasion.

today was focused on our photo story presentation. i found this program very interesting. it will be useful for my chosen career. this program will help me to educate my students in an interesting, fun and interactive way. the children remained interested in the lesson and i believe this will enhance the childrens learning.

Portfolio item 8- Photo story

my photo story follows my boyfriend and i’s journey to and through Taronga Zoo, we had a great time at the zoo.

this program i can use when teaching as i will be able to enhance the childrens learning and make the classes fun through creating a story or lesson out of photos.

Workshop 11- 15th May 2008

today we continued working on our inspiration mindmap….. i found today a lot easier as i recieved help from Mark in this lesson. i then started my powerpoint presentation on my interactive whiteboard. i found this not as challenging as the inspiration program as i have had experience with this program before.

both of these programs will be useful when teaching, as they can be used a tool when teaching!

Workshop 10- 8th May 2008

today we started our next portfolio item. this item was using an inspiration program that i had never used before. i struggled in this first workshop to become famailiar with the program. it had fun making my mind map and adding pictures onto it and makingit look pretty, but needed help when making my mind map

Portfolio item 7- powerpoint

in this item we were required to make a powerpoint item that outlined the advantages and disadvantages of a technology and again i chose interactive whiteboards. again i learnt alot about this technology and i was educated on the advantages and disadvantages of this technology.

Portfolio Item 6 Inspiration

in this portfolio item i was required to research a technology that could be used in a school for educating but also around the school. i chose interactive white boards. this technology i have found is a great tool for educating students especially priary school students as it allows the teacher to eduate the students in an interactive and fun way.
